Wes has been coding and running engineering teams for 25 years spanning fintech, music, and media analytics. Prior to joining MIT, Wes was the CTO for Chartbeat, the leader in the news analytics space. He then served as the decentralized social systems lead at CCC and CTO of Cortico, where he focused on social technologies, natural language processing, and management of the research to deployment bridge. He now continues to work on decentralized technologies at Filament and sits on Project Liberty’s Decentralized Social Networking Protocol advisory council.
